At Katella Speech Therapy, we want to support you and your child to establish strong foundations to reach for the sky and achieve their full potential.
Genna has a wealth of experience as a paediatric speech pathologist across a variety of areas including speech and language delays, paediatric feeding, fluency and literacy. She has worked in a variety of settings including schools and multidisciplinary practices. Genna’s areas of interest include early communication and supporting children with speech sound delays.
Genna works part time at Charles Sturt University, teaching into the Master of Speech Pathology program. She maintains strong links between clinical practice and tertiary education, bringing current, real-world experience into her teaching. Prior to entering the speech pathology field, Genna worked as a preschool teacher, which has deeply informed her understanding of early intervention and the importance of nurturing each child’s ability to engage fully in all aspects of life.
Outside her professional life, Genna enjoys spending time outdoors — whether caravanning with loved ones, tending to her vegetable garden or fruit orchard — or curling up in front of the fire with a good book.
