Genna has a wealth of experience as a paediatric speech pathologist across a variety of areas including speech and language delays, paediatric feeding, fluency and literacy. She has worked in a variety of settings including schools and multidisciplinary practices. Genna’s areas of interest include early communication and supporting children with speech sound delays.
Genna has strong connections with Charles Sturt University as both a clinical educator and casual tutor. Prior to entering the speech pathology field, she worked as a preschool teacher. This has informed her understanding of early intervention and significance of nurturing each child’s ability to engage fully in all aspects of life.
Outside her professional life, Genna enjoys spending time outdoors, whether that be caravanning with loved ones, tending to her vegetable garden or fruit orchard. She also enjoys curling up in front of the fire with a book.
